As part of my area of research in Feminist Security Studies, I am looking into the political militancy of women involved in leftist and feminist contentious politics in war and post-war settings. Recently, two main projects have constituted this area of research, my PhD dissertation (Université du Québec à Montréal, 2016-2022) on the political militancy of women ex-guerrilleras of the Farc-ep in Northeast Colombia and my Marie Curie/Vinnova/SSHRC post-doctoral fellowship on a comparative case between women ex-combatants in Nepal and Colombia. This page presents the (ongoing) results of those projects, also bearing in mind possible feminist futures in this area of research.
